Prickly Heat

Prickly heat, also called miliaria, is a skin condition that is unique to babies where the sweat glands, which are still immature, become plugged, causing a rash. It is common during the summer, in tropical areas where sweating is constant and has little escape. While most cases of prickly heat are relatively harmless, it is important to seek medical help if your baby is suffering from prickly heat.
